At Kelly®, we're seeking a Project Manager to work at a leading healthcare supply chain solutions client, based out of Alpharetta, GA.
Pay Rate: $70 to $100/hr based on experience
100% remote, local to Alpharetta beneficial
40 hour work week
Project Manager:
- Leading projects and initiatives aimed at improving business results across all product categories while reporting to the Director of Cost Transformation.
- Coordinating with Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Marketing teams to facilitate timely communication and successful project execution.
- Providing technical direction on operations, business processes, and systems to support project execution and process optimization.
- Lead Single or multiple projects depending on complexity
- May lead teams of 2 to 10 people
- Must have a broad appreciation and understanding of implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and change management within medical device industry.
- Support manufacturing units to meet objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and corporate ethics.
- Manage capital projects, in accordance with CFI's, to ensure maintenance of assets, provide required capacity, and ensure ROIC objectives are achieved.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Must Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or possess equivalent experience and training.
- Must Have 5+ years of experience in technical and operational roles within FDA-regulated products and manufacturing facilities.
- Possess project leadership experience, including scoping to post-launch activities, and are familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies.
- Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio supporting tools.
- Must have project leadership experience (scoping to post-launch activities) leading cross functional teams
- Must have experience with ERP systems and/or supply chain processes
- Must be able to effectively communicate, influence and manage change to be successful.
- Must be organized and able to work independently
- Ability to work in complex Global organization and at multiple levels to influence stakeholders
Additional Preferred Skills:
- SAP ERP proficiency
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Multi-lingual skills in Spanish, French or Chinese
- Microsoft Access, Power BI proficiency
- Knowledge across the whole process of developing products from the concept phase through development, production and launch; understanding and demonstrated application of stage gate process in portfolio management
- Design for Manufacturing methodology
- In depth knowledge within the medical device industry including quality requirements and regulatory requirements
