Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location: St. Louis, MO (South West area)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for the implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of quality and safety programs at the facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, customer, and corporate standards while driving operational excellence and product quality.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure Safety and Quality compliance.

Identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.

Implement and manage components of the Quality Assurance program, including data analysis, systems evaluation, product assessment, and quality technologies.

Direct inspections, hardware evaluations, and system audits to ensure proper application of management system procedures.

Oversee environmental monitoring programs and positive release requirements.

Manage raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality inspections.

Direct and advise personnel on special testing procedures to analyze product components and physical properties.

Compile and analyze testing data to determine process efficiency and diagnose equipment or operational issues.

Investigate product complaints and respond to vendors and customers as needed.

Establish and adjust work procedures to meet testing and production schedules.

Maintain and update SOPs, SSOPs, and documentation within the document management system.

Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for capital projects.

Train personnel on quality and safety management systems, including onboarding, annual, and ad hoc training.

Oversee sanitation responsibilities as assigned.

Participate in and support corporate and plant initiatives, including GMP, HACCP, SQF, GQMS, KMM, and LIMS.

Participate in and/or facilitate customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.

Observe, review, lead, and take initiative on quality activities across site, supplier, and customer operations, with appropriate notification to senior management.

Develop, implement, and audit quality-related programs and assigned projects.

Manage quality activities performed by personnel in cross-functional areas in collaboration with respective managers.
Reports to: Quality Assurance Technical Manager
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Microbiology, or related field preferred.

5+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing or related industry.

Supervisory or leadership experience required.

Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and safety regulations.

Experience with document control systems and audit processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
