What's a typical day as a Quality Assurance Technician? You'll be:
  • Performing manufacturing operations and inspections in accordance with documentation and allocated timelines.
  • Responsible for complex work and rework at unit and component levels, utilizing both conventional and digital tools.
  • Selecting and implementing suitable methods, resources, and procedures for manufacturing and quality control.
  • Supporting operators and initiating continuous improvement actions within your area.
  • Conducting final inspection duties based on drawings, engineering orders, and regulatory requirements.
  • Carrying out control operations post-manufacturing and proposing quality notification (QN) actions.
  • Inspecting components, assemblies, and laboratory test setups per design drawings and test procedures.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers for product release activities.
  • Updating reports and whiteboards with escalations and quality status.
  • Coordinating with RMA Team Leaders and operators to resolve quality issues.
  • Raising non-conformances (NCs) and corrective action requests (CARs) as needed.
  • Ensuring build standards and required documentation are maintained.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Are a high school or technical school graduate.
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control department.
  • Have performed process and/or quality system audits.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity and can lift 15-30 pounds.
  • Can communicate and follow manufacturing process instructions in English.
  • Have one or more years of experience with electronic sub-assemblies and system integration.
  • Have 3 years of experience using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, rulers, scales, etc.).
  • Can read two-dimensional drawings to create article inspection reports.
  • Have prior expertise in process audits and assessments.
