Description

Our client is seeking a Quality manager to over see a small team of quality personal in their manufacturing facility in Commerce, GA. A degree in Engineering is required and those with quality experience in both electrical components and casting manufacturing is highly desired. Other relative experience with pumps, valves, motors, motor controls, is a big plus!

This is a Direct Hire opportunity and relocating candidates are encouraged to apply.
Salary:                $95-$120K
Location:             Commerce, GA

Responsibilities:

• Problem resolution at the plant level, monitor supplier system to gauge quality performance
• Support AQP activities with suppliers.
• Knowledge with UL, ASME a plus.
• Supervise Quality team and lead/develop quality initiatives throughout the company.
• Manage the internal quality system, complete special projects in the areas of quality system improvement and corrective action.
• Assists in development and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
• Assists with internal and third-party audits in support of ISO certification.
• Interfaces with customer and government representatives for source inspection and the resolution of any problems with final product acceptance submittals.
• Experience with ISO AS9100/TS16949
