Job Title: R&D Engineer - Mechanical
Location: NW side of St Louis

As part of our Research and Development team, you'll have the opportunity to lead product designs from concept to implementation while contributing to the advancement of our industry-leading products.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and rigorously test new products tailored for the Automotive Service Industry.
  • Ensure the reliability and functionality of products by carefully selecting parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Validate concepts through thorough analysis and testing, including the design of specialized test fixtures and instrumentation as needed.
  • Develop intricate parts and assemblies, incorporating various materials such as sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, and electronics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives efficiently.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in product design; 3+ years preferred.
  • Proactive, self-starting mentality with a knack for creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Preferred experience in mechanism design, machined metal parts, material selection, system integration, and patent familiarity.
  • General knowledge of automobiles and suspension systems is advantageous.
