Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler – Receiving Clerk in Farmington!

If you like staying active and keeping materials moving in a fast-paced production environment, this role gives you hands-on involvement with receiving, stocking, and supporting daily manufacturing workflow. You'll operate equipment, maintain accurate inventory, and help ensure production teams always have what they need.

What You'll Do

  • Pull, stage, and deliver materials to assembly and production areas
  • Support receiving operations — unloading trucks and verifying shipments
  • Process receipts and transactions in SAP using PC or barcode scanners
  • Count, verify, and stock incoming materials in proper locations
  • Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and record in/out stock movements
  • Prepare labels, check paperwork, and resolve discrepancies
  • Keep storage areas organized and 5S compliant

What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license
  • Prior material handling or warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems a strong plus
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Able to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic
  • Forklift or box truck experience is a plus

Schedule & Pay
  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time (1st Shift)
  • $18.00–$19.00/hr | Weekly Pay
  • Long-term temp with potential to convert to full-time
