Remote Accounts Receivable Administrator

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Work Schedule Options: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm EST, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm EST, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST, will work at least 4 hours one Saturday a month

What's a typical day as a Remote Accounts Receivable Administrator? You'll be:
  • Posting customer receipts from various payment methods and sources to customer accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Communicating with customers to resolve payment application details and discrepancies.
  • Managing short pays, debit memos, NSFs, store journals, and miscellaneous cash.
  • Entering approved adjustments and write-offs.
  • Maintaining cash application metrics and meeting established service level agreements.
  • Utilizing proprietary and confidential data while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Interacting with both internal staff and external contacts.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least 3 years of experience with Excel, accounting practices, and cash application.
  • Possess strong call center skills (inbound and outbound highly preferred).
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Can perform 10-key data entry with high accuracy (10,000 keystrokes per hour).
  • Understand the billing process, payment posting, and general accounting or collections processes.
  • Are detail-oriented, able to handle confidential information, and thrive in a remote work setting.
  • Are available to work one Saturday per month for at least 4 hours.
