Echo Sonographer Technician
Kelly Government Solutions is a strategic supplier and business partner to the federal government and its key suppliers. Kelly Government Solutions is seeking Cardiac Sonographers (Echo Techs) to join the team at the VA in Puget Sound, contributing your expertise as an Echo Sonographer Technician to support our veterans. We are committed to delivering high-quality cardiology medical services across multiple VA facilities in Washington State.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role requires performing diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the National Certification standards set forth by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Perform echocardiographic studies, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color Doppler ultrasound
- Conduct stress echocardiograms, treadmill testing, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies as needed
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of results
- Maintain and operate GE ultrasound equipment and ensure optimal imaging quality
- Record, analyze, and interpret echocardiographic findings, documenting results in the VA's Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS)
Details:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Pay $51.24/hr+ $4.93/hr Health & Welfare (can put towards benefits or in your hourly up to 40 hours per week)
• Seattle, Tacoma, Everett
• Training done on-site in Seattle
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and/or CCI (RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year ECHO experience
- Proven technical proficiency and experience with GE Ultrasound Systems.
- Strong knowledge of echocardiogram procedures and patient care standards.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to American Society of Echocardiography guidelines.
Training and Requirements:
• AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Annual HIPAA and VA privacy training.
• Health examinations and compliance with OSHA standards.
