Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Stacker to work with Signode, a global leader in transit-packaging solutions, at Elkhart, IN 46514. This role offers hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment with a 3-month contract.

Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday
Contract: 3 months
Location: Elkhart, IN 46514

Key responsibilities:

  • Stack and pack products from production lines onto pallets according to specifications and productivity guidelines.

  • Perform visual quality checks to ensure products meet customer requirements.

  • Periodically inspect products using required tools.

  • Complete paperwork for production, product identification, and quality purposes.

  • Communicate with other operators regarding order status, construction, and quality.

  • Assist other operators with strapping skids and cleaning pallets using pallet jacks.

  • Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and participate in hazard recognition.

  • Assist team members with production line operations as needed after proper training.

  • Maintain housekeeping in the work area by clearing scrap material, sweeping, and removing debris.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PPE Notification:
Contractors must wear their own steel-toed boots. Other PPE required for specific tasks will be provided on site.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Production or assembly experience is a plus.

  • Safety-conscious with strong integrity, teamwork, time management, energy, and listening skills.

  • Ability to perform all essential job duties, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
