Tax Manager
Location: Torrance, CA
Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote
Monday- Friday 7am/8am
Salary $115,000 – $140,000/year + yearly bonus

We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager with strong experience in sales and tax systems, as well as international tax filings, to join our finance team in Torrance. This is your chance to drive tax strategy, ensure compliance, and contribute to the success of a growing, high-performing organization.
The Tax Manager will oversee domestic and international tax functions, including reporting, compliance, and planning. This role requires expertise in corporate tax, sales/use tax systems, and international tax filings. You will work cross-functionally, mentor staff, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Tax & Sales Tax Management:

  • Prepare, review, and oversee all U.S. federal and state tax filings.
  • Manage sales and use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead ASC 740 tax provision compliance, including reporting of uncertain tax positions.
  • Collaborate with external advisors on tax strategy, audits, and risk mitigation.
International Tax Management:
  • Oversee accuracy and completion of international tax returns and filings.
  • Manage transfer pricing adjustments, VAT compliance, and related international tax matters.
  • Coordinate local tax studies and international audits as needed.
Systems & Reporting:
  • Utilize tax and accounting systems to ensure accurate and timely filings (experience required).
  • Review and summarize financial data for tax return preparation and consolidated reporting.
  • Research and recommend new tax-saving opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
  • 6+ years of corporate tax experience, including sales/use tax and international filings.
  • Experience with tax software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and tax automation tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office, Torrance, CA).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA designation highly desirable.
  • Consolidation experience for tax reporting purposes.
