Description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Gilbert, Arizona, USA 85233-2236
Pay Rate: $19–$20 per hour
Position Type: Possible Temporary to Permanent
Schedule: 8am–5pm (Overtime as needed)
 
Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Steel-toed boots required.
  • Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.
  • Load/unload common carrier and company vehicles.
  • Assemble customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL.
  • Process paperwork for shipments, including verifying merchandise, applying correct postage, completing BOLs for LTL shipments, and following customer shipping instructions.
  • Gather assembled orders in carts, verify quantities and descriptions, count and record merchandise totals on invoice.
  • Pack orders into containers and arrange them for delivery according to truck route.
  • Verify quantities and items against invoices.
  • Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Use Scanner for Warehouse Management System; pick orders and manage material after receipt.
Qualifications
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attendance record required.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • General knowledge of electrical products.
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for accurate job completion.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills for job tasks.
  • Steel-toed boots required.
  • Ability to operate sit-down forklifts or other Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
