Now hiring a Warehouse Data Entry Clerk for our premier client in Henderson, NV!

Pay: $16/hr
Hours: 7:30am-5pm, M-F
Position Type: Long-term temp (12-months)
Location: Henderson, NV 89011

Job Summary: You will be handling up to 15-20 boxes per day that could weigh 25-50 lbs each. You will be handling files inside the boxes, capturing data from the files, and inputting the data into the computer database. You will be entering alphanumeric data from a variety of sources, including paper-based, electronic and phone. You must be able to type 50 words per minute and be able to carry the boxes that weigh 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Check data from completed forms and client documents for accuracy and completeness and enter into computer database.
  • Complete all assigned data entry requests/tasks within required timeframes while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Assure that all assigned documents are reviewed and that protocols are adhered to during data entry.
  • Meet job-specific standards and production rates for data entry requirements.
  • Provides direction or assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork.
  • Sorts and files paperwork as needed.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required, such as general office duties like typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.
  • Advise the appropriate manager of any issues requiring immediate attention, including but not limited to employee relations issues or safety issues.
  • Participate in safety and security drills and advise the appropriate manager of any violations.
  • Ensure all accidents and injuries are reported immediately to your supervisor.
  • Know and understand defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Excel and basic computer systems
  • Ability to meet physical demands of job (lift and carry 50 lb boxes of files regularly)
  • Type 50 words per minute
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Maintain record order and sequence
  • Basic PC computer skills
  • Work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as ability to work in a team environment
