Warehouse Forklift Operator 
Location: Franklin, MA
Shifts & Pay:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM – $20/hour (2 positions available)

  • Hybrid Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM – $22/hour (includes $2 shift differential) – (3 positions available)
    Lunch: 30 minutes
    Potential overtime available

About the Role

We are seeking versatile Warehouse Forklift Operators to join our team at New England Appliance in Franklin, MA. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with room for growth. We're not just looking for forklift operators—we need well-rounded warehouse professionals with recent forklift certification and hands-on forklift experience, plus skills in picking, scanning, stocking, cleaning, and other warehouse duties.

This role involves both inbound and outbound responsibilities, including accurately selecting products for shipment, receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read work orders (pick tickets) and follow instructions to pick and stage outbound products.

  • Operate forklifts to safely load/unload and store materials.

  • Receive, scan, and unpack inbound shipments; stock products in designated locations.

  • Inspect incoming/outgoing boxes for damage and report defects.

  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and promptly report hazards via established channels.

  • Assist with special projects, general warehouse duties, and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

  • Recent forklift certification with current/recent forklift operating experience (required).

  • 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred, including inbound/outbound freight and order picking.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull light-to-moderate loads, and perform bending, stooping, and reaching.

  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures on concrete floors.

  • Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices (a plus).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual skills a plus.
