Job Posting: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Verifier

Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Salary: $16.50/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Verifier to serve as the primary point for inspection and verification during receiving and shipping processes. Key responsibilities include ensuring the correct count and condition of cargo upon receipt and dispatch, as well as documenting transport equipment suitability. The role requires clear and precise documentation skills, particularly since handling sensitive products with care is crucial.

The Verifier must maintain safety awareness at all times in the warehouse and avoid blind spots to protect themselves and co-workers. Responsibilities include fulfilling various warehouse tasks such as housekeeping, additional verification, and inventory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record inbound and outbound cargo details
  • Operate RF scanning equipment through the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Perform inventory functions and general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintain housekeeping practices and upkeep in assigned work areas
  • Document inventory transactions using handheld RF devices
  • Note start and end times on work orders for productivity tracking
  • Sign in and out equipment and complete inspections, reporting issues for truck and clamp attachments
  • Ensure accurate accounts of loaded and unloaded items
  • Safely transfer customer and company property within the warehouse
  • Meet all production and safety objectives
  • Comply with all company rules, policies, and safety regulations
  • Support customer requirements and company goals

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in RF-based WMS systems (Camelot preferred)
  • At least one year of equipment experience, particularly with clamp attachments in a warehousing environment
  • High school diploma or GED
