Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday to Friday
Salary: $65,000–$70,000+ based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all warehouse and production activities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly organized, and skilled in managing people, processes, and inventory in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.This leadership role requires strong operational planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication to ensure efficient material handling, production flow, and quality control. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan daily warehouse and production operations based on order schedules, inventory levels, and delivery timelines.
- Establish priorities and production sequences to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor workflow and inspect equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, verify inventory movements, and enforce material handling procedures.
- Work closely with departments including sales, procurement, and quality to support company objectives.
- Negotiate freight rates and shipping terms; manage damaged goods and claims.
- Supervise warehouse team, assign duties, and manage staffing levels.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and lead cycle counting efforts.
- Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company and regulatory compliance standards.
- Directly oversee warehouse, production, and shipping staff.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Maintain a productive, safe, and team-oriented work environment.
- Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with dispatch or inventory systems a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site full-time.
- High School Diploma or GED
