Description

Welder – Fabricator

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with strong fabrication skills and hands-on experience in GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding.

  • Location: Mansfield
  • Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour (Based Skills & Experience)
  • Hours: 40–45 hours per week
Schedule & Overtime
  • Regular shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 1st stage OT: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Additional OT may include:
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • 4 (10-hour) shifts, Monday–Thursday
  • 12-hour shifts Friday–Sunday (during peak demand)
  • Candidates must be willing to work 10-hour days and occasional Saturdays.
  • Must be willing to work/travel to Smithville facility as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  • Install and repair various equipment and components
  • Read, understand, and follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience (required)
  • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields
  • Proficient in GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding
  • Ability to read engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Capable of working independently after training

Mansfield facility manufactures carbon steel products for the tire and rubber industry, including the production of truck conveyor systems.
 
Smithville facility specializes in stainless steel fabrication for the food industry, producing equipment.
