Job Title: Wood Finisher
Pay: $18-20 / Hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift M-F 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Training on 1st Shift for Two Weeks
- After your first day start at 8 AM, you will have a two-week training period on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM before transitioning to the second shift.
Reports To: Finish Room Manager/ Finishing Lead
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following outlines the primary responsibilities for this role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Conducts finishing work within a spray booth environment.
- Carries out color mixing and matching to align with product and production requirements.
- Applies wood treatments, stains, colorants, and textures as specified.
- Prepares products by sanding, repairing, and conditioning wood in advance of priming, staining, painting, and finishing processes.
- Operates various equipment including sanding machines, wood cutting tools, and drilling machinery.
- Proficient in unit measurement and the use of manual tools.
- Skilled in color matching and wood finishing techniques.
- Previous experience in a wood shop performing final product finishes.
- Prior experience with spray booth operations.
- High school diploma or GED required; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Competent in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting bar graphs.

- Competent in managing problems involving a few tangible variables in standardized contexts.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
