This intern position will support Lane's Estimating Team in the Charlotte, NC office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and basic cost calculations.
- Review plans and specifications to identify project scope.
- Help prepare cost estimates, bid documents, and proposal materials.
- Gather and organize subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Update estimating files, historical cost data, and internal databases.
- Support team meetings and occasional site visits to understand project conditions.
- Provide general administrative and documentation support for active bids.
- May work with HCSS heavy bid, Bluebeam, & Primavera software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a B.S or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree to function
