Title and Summary
Director, Global Sales Administration & Operations Overview:The Director of Global Sales Administrator & Operations is a key member of Mastercard Commerce Media Advertising Sales Leadership. They ensure our sales team has the tools and training to be successful sellers. The ideal candidate will have experience as a sales administrator, training sales teams, and managing sales pipelines at a global company. The ideal candidate has managed hiring and onboarding sales team members across geographies. The candidate ensures the sales team focuses on sales, while enabling the salespeople with global reporting standards, best practices, and presentations / templates. The Sales Administrator manages global priorities across teams, removing barriers to sales and driving revenue.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Administer and report on sales pipeline, closed sales, renewals, associated KPIs, and proactively identify and remove any bottlenecks in the sales process.
• Develops global standards for advertising content mix for new and established markets.
• Trains the team on sales best practices and processes from prospecting to closed / won. Maintaining a library of training tools inclusive of training guides, desktop procedures, GTM playbooks, sales decks, webinars, Q&A, and contracts.
• Ensures sales team onboarding process is seamless across markets globally.
• Manages priorities at a global level ensuring that tools and product enhancements enabling sales are delivered as needed and on time.
• Develops and maintains global reporting and presentations for our sales team so that salespeople can keep focused on the sales.
• Manage contract worker processes and procedures including contracting, timecards and agency relationships.
• Leads a global team and is responsible for their success.
All About You:
• Experience in sales administration, training and operations in a complex global environment.
• Expert at managing and reporting on global sales pipelines / funnel using Salesforce.
• Experienced at using and training teams on sales enablement tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Strong at communication, presentations and training; comfortable adapting to the audience with high level summaries that are professional quality PowerPoint to detailed flows in Visio.
• Systematically organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs, handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to act with a persistent and urgent approach to responsibilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, identifies solutions when no clear process has been established, socializes solutions across key stakeholders and implements.
• Experience managing and coaching a global sales administration team while enabling the salespeople to drive revenue.
• Bachelor's degree required
