Title and Summary

Director of People Leader Development We are seeking a Director of People Leader Development to challenge the status quo of traditional event-based development programs and create a flexible and scalable learning experience to meet our leaders needs wherever they are in their career and leadership journey. In this role, you will create a learning strategy and curriculum that enhances a leader's ability to execute on business strategy/objectives through leading and developing their team, role modeling the Mastercard way, understanding how to navigate the Mastercard operating model, building more self-awareness, resilience and prioritize wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be data driven in understanding the needs of our people leaders and combine industry led research on what it takes to create an impactful and sustainable people leader development strategy & curriculum. They will appreciate the great leaders currently at Mastercard and look for ways to scale their practices through the means of education, exposure and experience.

The Director of People Leader Development will report to the Head of Leadership Academy and work in a matrixed environment with key HR (People & Capability) stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a multi-year strategy and roadmap for people leader development aligned with needs of our people leaders supported by stakeholders
- Design, lead sustainable and well managed programs, offerings and processes by balancing simplicity and scalability within a matrixed P&C environment
- Design and deliver learning experiences that account for our global people - leader needs
- Work with Learning Academy leads to further contextualize people leadership for Mastercard critical roles
- Work in partnership with our Learning Delivery team and Design Studio to create communication and marketing materials that engage Mastercard people leaders to enroll in learning experiences
- Implement comprehensive evaluation strategies aligned to key people & business metrics
- Develop a network of partners by building strong relationships internally in Mastercard to design people leader development experiences
- Support the build out of the Leadership Academy online platform drive a frictionless experience and improved accessibility of resources for managers & leaders across the globe

Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding and experience in designing, building and implementing scalable learning solutions across wide range of learning modalities
- Ability to synthesize data and identify theme's and inferences to influence point of view
- Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated organizational savvy and experience in effectively engaging with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate effectively across regions and business units on to implement global standards
- Robust global event management and presentation skills (in-person as well as virtual)
- Strong communications skills and a creative and data-driven mindset
- Collaborative and results focus to ensure voices are heard and continuing to push programs forward
- Experience negotiating with vendors and holding them accountable

Pay Ranges

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
