Title and Summary

Director, Onboarding and KYC Overview-
We are looking for a fintech savvy product director, with great people leader skills, and an eye for excellent user experience to join our team in Open Finance


You will be lead the Onboarding and LUC team
The Onboarding and KYC (Know your Customer) team oversee the end-to-end technical onboarding and KYC experience. We are responsible for our product's touch points in the business, ensuring a consistent and high-quality expression in both design and content as well as performance.


With clear objectives, the Onboarding and KYC team design, build, and maintain the simple and compliant user experiences that power a wide range of use cases within open banking.

Role-Team responsibilities are:

Deliver world-class onboarding of customers to our platform through simple flows and well-crafted designs

Build and maintain tooling that enable, automate, and simplify management of product both internally and externally for our customers and internal stakeholders

Become a domain expert on the use cases powered by our open banking platform

Building solid solutions for ecommerce, top up and bill payment solutions and many other domains.

Champion and evolve the way we design our products through guidelines, vigorous testing, and iteration.


Your role

As Product Director you will be leading one or more delivery squads and will be a prime motivator for the members of the team. You will steer product development processes with confidence and creativity and lead the squad with empathy and inclusion.


You will be responsible for:

Creating the product vision aligned with the company strategy and articulating it within and outside of your squad

Being in control of your product and the product strategy by maintaining a deep, detailed, and meaningful backlog (at least 3 cycles ahead)

Evaluating relevant customer cases and opportunities through detailed market and business analysis

Providing your squad and stakeholders like Compliance, Legal and Engineering teams, with clear direction, plans, and structure

Acting as the primary conduit and sparring partner in and out of your squad

Proactively informing Sales, Marketing and other Product teams about our products and features

Working with Compliance to translate requirements into practical solutions

Being a candid, clear and open communicator

Ensuring stakeholder alignment across the business


All about you-:

Have a proven track record of successful end-to-end product management from similar positions, shipping quality applications and software

Have a strong track record of building data-driven digital products.

Are well versed within agile product management and project management processes

Have excellent communication skills and an ability to render complexity into simple overviews and models to act upon

Are an advocate for great user and customer experiences

Have a great technical aptitude and understanding

Have a great passion for reading and learning

Have a sense for the right product and feature set and can inspire others through your structured and plan-driven approach. You focus on getting incremental product releases fast to the market

Have strong and ambitious leadership


Additional skills (good to have, but not required):

Experience working with digital financial services

Knowledgeable about PSD2, financial legislation and compliance related to open banking / finance

SaaS experience, or experience in another Tech company

Programming or prototyping experience
