Director, Product Marketing Overview:

Mastercard has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing expert to join our team. The successful candidate will report to Vice President, B2B & Product Marketing, and work as a core part of the Canada Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and delivering strategic transformative vision for the Product Marketing discipline in support of global and regional priorities and key product initiatives that will meet business objectives.

Role:
• Strategic lead of the Product Marketing discipline responsible for setting annual objectives and development of the annual Product Marketing plans in support of corporate objectives across Core, Commercial & New Payment Flows and Services and ongoing efforts to transform the Product Marketing function.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping Mastercard's B2B brand, including development and refinement of overarching and solution-specific narratives.
• Ongoing oversight of the execution and optimization of the Product Marketing plans.
• Strategic owner of the Lead Generation framework responsible for planning, implementation, execution and ongoing optimization.
• Holistic oversight of planning, development and execution of sales enablement materials, in close collaboration with global and regional marketing and product teams.
• Ownership of the B2B event strategy, including management of B2B sponsorships.
• Ongoing liaison with the Product organization to monitor progress, address shifting priorities, and ensure alignment across key objectives.
• Manage a team of three marketing professionals, provide ongoing mentorship and support their career development through personalized plans.
• Manage the BTL agencies scope, including identifying priority projects, annual retainer, staffing needs and ongoing monitoring of spend against budget.
• Responsible for the Sonic branding go to market strategy and opportunity pipeline management.
• Responsible for development and execution of the Passion Cards go-to-market strategy.
• Collaboration with the Americas, driving synergies and gathering/sharing best practices.

All About You:
Education and Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, predominantly in B2B marketing.
• A self-starter who can work independently to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage to deadlines while being focused on delivering results.
• Creative, strategic, and agile thinker possessing high level of comfort with fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proven proficiency in strategically designing and executing B2B lead gen strategies including development of targeted plans against key audiences and building out relevant content strategies.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in agency management.
• Experience in a regional role, working with multiple functions and markets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong presentation and proposal formulation skills.
• Well-developed financial and general analytical skills.
• Strong ability to manage senior audiences.
• Experience with event management is an asset.
