Title and Summary

Director - Program Management Overview:

Mastercard's Services Technology team is seeking a Director, Program Management to support the Data Commercialization Platform (DCP) Leadership in driving operational efficiency, aligning priorities, and enabling platform-wide execution. In this role, you'll be the connective tissue across a rapidly evolving data ecosystem—bridging Architecture to Engineering, Governance to Product, Cloud to Private Core—to help teams deliver a unified, open Lakehouse foundation that turns complexity into clarity, and strategy into scalable results.

About The Role:

Collaborate with DCP Leadership and partners across Data & Analytics (D&A) to execute the DCP strategic roadmap.

Support delivery of DCP platform priorities by working closely with business leads and cross-functional teams across Mastercard (e.g. Data Strategy & Management, Privacy & Data Protection, MA TECH, Finance, P&C, Communications, Legal, Architecture, etc.).

Develop executive presentations and messaging for internal audiences (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, Governance meetings, Strategic Execution, Business Updates, etc.); facilitate clear and consistent communication across the platform.

Drive business reporting to ensure operational excellence; identify insights across DCP execution and provide meaningful recommendations.

Support employee communication and engagement initiatives (e.g. All Hands, directs meetings, Leadership Offsites, Community Engagement, Newsletters); partner with P&C to support Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Simplify and structure ambiguous technical problems—uncover root causes, develop solutions, and translate into actionable recommendations.

Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives across ingestion, Lakehouse zones, governance, and platform enablement, ensuring timely execution of key objectives.

Identify, manage, and resolve dependencies and risks across engineering, data governance, and product teams, ensuring transparent communication and status reporting to stakeholders.

All About You:

Proven experience in executive/leadership communications, business reporting, and translating technical strategies into execution plans.

Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to “storyboard” and build visually compelling, logically structured presentations.

Highly organized and detail-oriented; skilled at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Intellectually curious with an entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset.

Strong influencing skills—able to anticipate challenges, address issues proactively, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Trusted partner who can manage sensitive information and exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

Flexible and creative, able to adapt and thrive in an evolving platform and multi-cloud environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively at all levels.

Experience identifying risks and implementing mitigating controls, particularly related to data platforms, cloud environments, and data governance.
