Director/Senior Managing Consultant, Creative Pre-Engagement Lead Overview
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Specialized Product Delivery (SPD) is a department within Services' Advisors & Consulting Services organization and focuses on the building out of new in-house capabilities to service our clients. The Commercial Lead roles within SPD are focused on in-housing services that are currently being outsourced to third party supplier and identifying new and incremental revenue generating opportunities to grow the SPD business and overall profitability of the Services business.

Role

Specifically this role is to support the growth of the Advisors Creative Desk (ACD) within SPD. The Advisors Creative Desk is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand creative solutions for our clients.
• Working closely with the ACD Facility Lead, Creative Strategy Director and Project Director to identify areas for business growth
• Develop and lead the relationship between ACD and key internal stakeholders such as Product, Business Development and Cluster Leads to garner advocacy and usage of ACD as well us garner an understanding of any pain-points for resolution
• Liaise directly with clients, jointly as needed with the ACD Project Director and internal stakeholders such as Product, Business Development, to pitch for new business and identify solutions to factors that cause an objection to using ACD
• Scope and price complex client solutions in collaboration with Creative Strategists and Project Director as needed
• Meticulously review and analyse performance data and reporting outputs for accuracy and relevance, recommending and implementing changes as required
• Assist the ACD Facility Lead with compiling performance review packs for ACD, such as for monthly updates and QBR's
• Identify, recommend and initiate process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency

All About You
• Considerable experience of 12 years or more with client management in the advertising and marketing industry
• Ability to understand and synthesis financial reporting data and draw actionable insights
• Capacity to identify, solve for and understand how to operationalise areas for performance improvement
• Experience leading the implementation optimisation and transformational and optimisation initiatives
• High degree of technical skill with reporting and business tools
• Bachelor degree qualified, ideally with post graduate qualifications in business management
• Fully capable of working in Mandarin and English environment
• Eligible to work in China
