Title and Summary

Manager Advanced Analytics & AI Overview:

Our Performance Analytics team leverage Mastercard and client data to provide Analytics solutions to our customers, such as reports, business insights, custom segmentations, and predictive models. We use different analytics techniques such as programming skills (Python SQL SAS,R) and our projects require deep understanding of machine learning concepts: regression and classification, clustering, neural networks, feature selection, cross- validation, curse od dimensionality, bias-variance trade-off, model explain ability, etc.

Description of the Role:

• Manage deliverables, development of the solutions and workstreams on projects across a range of industries
• Contribute to and/or develop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
• Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
• Utilize MC infrastructure (Hadoop, Spark) and external data to obtain data from multiple sources, collate, analyze, and triangulate information to develop reliable fact bases
• Apply a range of descriptive and/or predictive analytical techniques to rigorously identify client issues and synthesize analysis into clear, sound recommendations;
• Share up-to-date developments in ML using the best practices for code sharing, reviewing and collaboration
• Support MasterCard Advisors and local market account teams in client relationship management and business development effort, where required

All about you:

• Undergraduate or master's degree and at least 10 years of work experience
• Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including predictive modeling
• Data and analytics experience such as working with data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS) and building, managing, and maintaining database structures
• Experience with big data and a solid foundation in managing and analyzing large datasets and synthesize key findings to provide recommendations via descriptive analytics and business intelligence
• Experience delivering and managing data projects or leading small data science/analytics teams
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
• Proven team player with proven ability to work with all levels in a highly intellectual, collaborative, and fast paced environment
• Professional level English language capability
• Desirable experience working with payments / transactions / card data is a plus, although not mandatory
