Manager, Business Operations, Canada Manager, Business Operations, CanadaRole Overview:
Reporting to the Canada Strategy team we're seeking a Manager, Business Operations to be a project manager and communications coordinator among all functions within the Mastercard Canada business (plus key Americas partners) to build, support and maintain Canada's operational foundation to maximize the productivity of the Canadian Leadership Team.
This role will partner closely with the Division President, Canada and the Strategy team on the following areas of accountability:
Owning and coordinating the completion of deliverables for all core operational rhythms including pipeline reviews, QoRs and action planning (in partnership with Strategy and Finance leaders)
Ongoing ownership of agendas for Canadian Leadership Team meetings to ensure completion of all operational deliverables (e.g. business and action plan updates)
Coordinating completion of Division President + ALT & ELT briefing documents for all Canadian customer meetings and internal and external events to best align to business priorities
Leading the completion of the Canadian Leadership Team's collated responses to a diverse range of dynamic topics (e.g. earnings prep, customer feedback on a ley topic)
Coordination of ALT and ELT executive visits to Canada (ALT and ELT) and the ongoing alignment of Americas executives to key customer opportunities in Canada
Liaising with Internal Communications team to ensure operational priorities and focus areas are reflected in newsletters, Town Halls, and other key communications from the Division President
Required Experience & Skills:
Experience in operations and project management: Experienced project manager capable of handling multiple operational needs simultaneously and prioritizing effectively. Ability to synthesize disparate concepts and work streams into coherent easily understood programs
Adaptable: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to flex as needed in a dynamic working environment. Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse set of competing needs. Ability to excel under pressure and manage fast turnarounds with leadership visibility
Advanced communication skills: Strong written and oral communication skills a must. Ability to zoom in / out on topics, then translate into written materials that enable a senior executive to understand and action. Strong slide and content creation capabilities with minimal guidance. Strong attention to detail
Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, influence diverse stakeholders, drive accountability and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
