Title and Summary

Manager, Finance Business Partner Overview:
Corporate Solutions is a priority area for Mastercard, expected to accelerate volume and revenue growth for the company. This high-profile role will partner with the Mastercard Corporate Solutions team to drive the business forward and maximize ROI. This role has a broad remit and will include P&L management, business case & decision support, investment optimization, FP&A, ad-hoc analytics, & special projects.

Role:
• Build and maintain close relationships with business partners to provide financial/business case support & inform decision making.
• Partner with regional finance teams & Corporate Planning to devise targets/operating budget, financial forecasts, variance analysis, and risks/opportunities for the Corporate Solutions team.
• Develop, track, and analyze key business performance metrics and share insights with business partners and senior leaders.
• Manage month & quarter-end financial close processes. Ensure accruals and amortization entries are booked in the proper period. Maintain expense trackers to understand spend, find efficiencies, and refine future forecasts.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of costs, drivers, and variances to forecast.
• Support senior level reviews (e.g. board decks, monthly CEO/CFO update, monthly business reviews, etc.) with performance tracking, key insights & outlooks, and ad-hoc analytics, presented in a clear and compelling manner.
• Assist the product teams with business cases pertaining to strategic initiatives that may require incremental investment; provide thought leadership to refine the ask and to help them achieve their goals for current and outer years.
• Support effective cost management and drive financial discipline.
• Work closely with the Commercial product and engineering teams to identify, measure and deliver against aggressive expense efficiency targets and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Engineering Finance teams to incorporate Engineering with Product for a consolidated Corporate Solutions view.
• Work with Tax, Legal, Controllership and other functions as needed to appropriately structure and account for new product initiatives
• Develop financial models and analyses to support business strategies and analyze new business opportunities.
• Analyze client-level actual and forecasted revenue trends to identify opportunities and risks and incorporate those findings into the forecast.
• Ensure a sound, well-controlled financial environment.
• Support investor relations in their external conversations by providing insight into drivers of past commercial performance and expectations for the future.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
