Title and Summary

Manager, Finance Business Partner, Services - Expenses Overview:

We are looking for a Finance Manager to help in leading our Finance Business Partnership practice through a period of high growth and expansion. This individual will work across the Entire Finance Team (Accounting and FP&A teams) to provide value-added insight and recommendations to the business and management during its high growth trajectory.

Role:
• Manages aspects of financial and budgeting related needs i.e., month end close, forecasts, annual budget processes
• Partners with the Engineering business to support objective delivery by providing relevant financial analytics, regular reporting and business insights to key stakeholders, while developing robust tracking mechanisms
• Performs the annual target and budget process by issuing guidelines, analyzing performance, producing key management reporting, consolidating information and tracking changes
• Owns the monthly close process delivering analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives. Reviews and provides thoughtful business driven commentary to management teams
• Proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvements
• Partner with cross functional teams to drive analyses and make recommendations for improvement
• Demonstrates strong modeling capabilities leveraging automation and data-driven approaches; supports the establishment of consistent frameworks and methodologies to enable global and regional finance business partners
• Ability to sort/mine large sets of data from multiple data sources to identify trends/variances or areas of improvement
• Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analyses for use by managers to evaluate their businesses or key initiatives
• Collect and organize inputs required to maintain financial models or plans, as needed
• Work with the accounting department to ensure accurate monthly accrual entries
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information, including sensitive data
• Reviews and responds promptly to ad-hoc requests for information and analysis.

All About You:
• Sound understanding of Financial Concepts, Forecasts, and Data Modeling
• Experience managing major elements of large, cross-functional projects
• Demonstrated success working with partners across other business units and markets in support of cross-functional programs
• Exposure to delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership
• Experience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships to assist with the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to take ownership and lead effort from start to completion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner; adapts to changing business needs and priorities
• Robust understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to those less experienced (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle, Thinkcell)
• Experience with automation tools (Alteryx, Power BI, etc) a plus
