Manager, Services Business Development, Retail & Commerce (Central Europe) About Mastercard Services

All About the Role

As a member of our sales team, you'll generate excitement and demand for our solutions, leading and collaborating to identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and build a robust pipeline. You'll orchestrate prospect discussions and demonstrations, contributing to revenue and reinforcing Mastercard's industry leadership. As a Business Development Manager, you'll lead business development initiatives for Services in Central Europe Central Europe with focus Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece, Malta, and Cyprus, driving growth in the Retail & Commerce segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Mastercard's Retail and Commerce business line for Central Europe as an individual salesperson, supported by diverse teams in Services and the broader organization.
• Design, track, and leverage efficiencies of the full Central Europe Pipeline for Retail & Commerce.
• Take a thoughtful approach to scoping clients' challenges and creating relevant, customized solutions by leveraging various Mastercard Services capabilities and assets.
• Work closely with management team members to move sales processes into signed deals across the region.
• Exhibit exceptional personal performance while promoting a collaborative and team-focused atmosphere within the Services team and across other functions at Mastercard.

All About You:

• Experience in sales or business development in FMCG companies or service providers, ability to run discussions independently with C-level executives.
• Ability to effectively influence a diverse, multifunctional team to align with shared goals and key focus areas, fostering collaboration and cohesion.
• Adaptability at identifying new business opportunities and managing existing accounts, showing the ability to adjust to various market demands and scenarios.
• Proven self-starter with a record of success in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to take full ownership of the sales process from prospecting to executing commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral.
• High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
• Consulting skillset/experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
