Title and Summary

Performance Engineer II MDES is Mastercard's digital platform serving 15+ billion transactions per year in 63+ countries.
MDES's APIs and services are used by Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Netflix and many other wallets and banks

We build product for scale and we are looking for person in Performance Engineering team.

Person should have good working experience of performance testing of API, scripting & data setup, finding bottlenecks and giving inputs for performance tuning, participate in capacity planning and resiliency of platform.

Experience:
• Working experience of performance testing and its tools and technologies (Gatling, LoadRunner, JMeter, Blazemeter, etc)
• Knowledge of Java/scala and overall being able to create scripts for generating load and creating data
• Good at analysis & troubleshooting of issues
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, or SQL, or desire and ability to learn

Additionally, person will be contributing increasing resiliency of platform, own key customer's communication & engagement on operational issues & excellence front, own Capacity planning, performance testing, automated pipelines/scripts to give continuous feedback, identify patterns of top issues, monitor & improve availability and performance SLAs, future trends and risks & work on mitigations, review critical release's readiness, engineering best practices, strengthen alerting and monitoring, review 5 whys and RCAs, work with key dependent teams
