This role plays a critical part in ensuring database reliability, security, automation, and scalability across a complex, global technology landscape, while partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
Role
As a Senior DBA, you will own the end‑to‑end administration, optimization, and operational excellence of enterprise database environments. You will ensure adherence to change, incident, and problem management processes while continuously improving operational maturity.
In addition, you will champion database best practices, standards, and governance across the organization, contribute to process improvements, and provide technical leadership through mentoring and guidance of junior DBAs. Participation in an on‑call rotation, including after‑hours and weekend support, is required to ensure service continuity.

You have strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, optimize queries and indexing strategies, and improve overall system efficiency. You are comfortable leading moderate to large database initiatives, planning complex technical efforts, and coordinating work across multiple teams.
You communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and you are confident advocating for database best practices, standards, and governance. You value high‑quality documentation and actively contribute to maintaining and enhancing DBA processes, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
You thrive in a global, collaborative environment, enjoy mentoring junior team members, and continuously look for opportunities to improve database reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
