We are currently seeking a Software Engineer II – Quality to join our Business Intelligence platform team within Data & Services. This role is ideal for a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, analytically strong, and capable of working independently to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer II (Quality) with 3-5 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, AI and cloud-based application testing, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases.
• Validate application codebases for new features and regression testing using automation frameworks.
• Perform performance testing and ensure scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large and complex datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to report bugs, suggest improvements, and ensure alignment on quality goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST API testing.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries.
• Experience with performance testing tools and cloud-based application testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to AI/ML-based application testing.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
