Title and Summary

Specialist, Product Management Overview:

Are you passionate about using data to influence strategic decisions? Do you enjoy translating complex data into actionable business insights? Mastercard's Global Consumer Products and Processing team is looking for a Data & Insights Specialist to bridge the gap between advanced analytics and business strategy.

As a key member of the team, you will act as a liaison between Data Science and the Business, enabling Mastercard to make smarter, faster, and data-informed decisions across a wide range of global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with the data analytics team to interpret complex models and outputs, translating them into clear, compelling narratives for business stakeholders.
- Support multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously, managing timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Identify creative ways to leverage data across different business needs—both for standard reporting and innovative strategic initiatives.
- Develop reports, visualizations, and summaries that distill data into key takeaways for internal business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Global and Regional Product, Data Analytics) to develop and share data and insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, with a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, insight generation processes, and business storytelling.

About you:

- You have 1–3 years of experience in a data analytics, business insights, or strategy support role, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- You are detail-oriented and meticulous, with the ability to balance precision and business relevance.
- You're a strong communicator who can translate analytical outputs into business language for non-technical audiences.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and complexity and enjoy proactively finding solutions.
- You thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities with confidence.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
