Title and Summary

Technical Lead, Software Engineering Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Full Stack Tech Lead to drive the vision and execution of our core technology platform. You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction across both our backend and frontend stacks, ensuring scalable and resilient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Platform Vision & Strategy: Drive the technical vision and roadmap for the platform, translating business goals into technical requirements and architecture.
• Team & Project Guidance: Guide and mentor a development team, overseeing project execution, code reviews, and technical decision-making
• Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions across the full stack.
• DevOps & Cloud: Champion DevOps best practices, focusing on continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and leveraging AWS cloud services.
• Quality Assurance: Define and enforce comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, etc.) to ensure application reliability.
• Process Improvement: Promote and practice Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to maximize team efficiency and delivery predictability.

Required Technical Expertise
• Backend: Deep expertise in Java, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails.
Frontend: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services for hosting, scaling, and managing applications.
• Testing: Experience with different approaches and frameworks for application testing at all levels.
• Methodology: Strong practical experience working within Agile development environments.
• You currently live in Mexico City and has availability to attend the office 3-times per week.
• You are able to communicate in English and have an advanced level of the language.
