Overview
Services is a key growth driver for EEMEA. The EEMEA Network Services team accelerates commercialization and distribution of all Services solutions across three product groups-Security Solutions, Consumer Acquisition & Engagement and Business & Market Insights- through every Services distribution channel at scale. We also enable synergies with other Mastercard product groups. Our mandate: deliver sustainable, recurring revenue powered by value-based pricing, innovative business models, tailored propositions and resilient go-to-market strategies across priority customer segments and buying centers.

Role Overview
The Vice President Network Optimization is accountable for maximizing the performance, profitability, and commercial integrity of the network-based distribution channel in addition to other applicable ‘paths to market' within the EEMEA Services organization. The role leads revenue management and assurance initiatives that strengthen monetization, enhance yield and improve the overall efficiency of the various G2M distribution channels

It ensures go-to-market (GTM) governance, commercial discipline, and monetization integrity across the network channel -optimizing usage, waiver conversion and revenue assurance to ensure every transaction and relationship delivers measurable value.

Reporting to the SVP, Network Services (EEMEA), this leader partners closely with Finance, Pricing, Analytics, and Customer Success to deliver a unified revenue management framework that drives scalable growth, operational efficiency, and financial integrity through data-driven insight, commercial rigor and cross-functional collaboration.

The role is based out of Istanbul, Turkey

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management & Assurance
• Lead the design and execution of a revenue management and assurance framework to track, protect, and optimize revenue realization across all network initiatives.
• Oversee revenue assurance programs, monitoring usage, identifying leakage, and implementing corrective actions to improve yield and profitability.
• Partner with the Finance & Pricing teams to align on reporting standards, forecasting accuracy, and optimization initiatives that ensure transparency and accountability.
• Drive waiver management and conversion programs, enforcing commercial discipline and maximizing recovered value.

GTM Governance & Execution
• Lead GTM governance and roadmap planning for all network-based distribution initiatives to ensure alignment with Mastercard's broader Services strategy.
• Oversee the planning, rollout, and communication of network programs — including bulletin releases, internal updates, and stakeholder engagement.
• Design proposals and business cases for new programs, collaborating with Analytics and Finance to quantify commercial impact, ROI, and scalability.
• Coordinate syndication and approval processes for network initiatives, ensuring timely alignment across product, finance, and market leadership teams. – move to Pricing
• Manage fund allocation and financial oversight for network projects to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with governance standards.

Network Performance Optimization
• Analyze the network portfolio's performance to identify optimization opportunities, usage trends, and commercial improvement levers.
• Lead data-driven initiatives to improve utilization, throughput, and monetization across all channels.
• Partner with Pricing, Analytics, and Commercialization teams to establish guardrails, measure impact, and enhance channel-level profitability.
• Support performance improvement across all distribution pathways, including network-based, embedded solutions, reseller/referral partnerships, developer/tech partnerships, and direct sales models.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Insights
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards providing end-to-end visibility into network usage, revenue realization, and yield metrics.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategy, prioritization, and corrective action.
• Foster collaboration across Product, Finance, Customer Success, and Regional Leadership to ensure unified execution and consistent commercial governance.

Leadership & People Management
• Experienced leader with a track record of developing high-performing analytical and commercialization teams in a hybrid setting including virtual.
• Adept at coaching, prioritization, and ensuring analytical rigor and insight quality across deliverables.

All About You
• Minimum 10 to 15 years in Commercial Strategy, Pricing or Revenue Operations ideallly in Fintech, SaaS or Platform businesses
• Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Proven experience leading revenue management, assurance, and go-to-market governance in payments, fintech, or large-scale networked businesses. Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable growth and optimization initiatives.
• Analytical & Quantitative Strength – Advanced proficiency in data analysis, portfolio analytics, and business case modeling, with the ability to synthesize insights into clear commercial recommendations.
• Financial Acumen – Deep understanding of revenue assurance, budgeting, and financial governance, with experience managing fund allocation and optimizing financial performance across multiple projects or channels.
• Project & Execution Excellence – Strong organizational and project-management skills to oversee complex network rollouts, GTM programs, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution and measurable impact.
• Stakeholder Management & Influence – Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage and align senior stakeholders across Finance, Pricing, Analytics, Product, and Customer Success, as well as external partners.
• Technical & Network Understanding – Familiarity with network technologies, distribution architectures, and commercialization models, enabling effective decision-making across technical and commercial domains.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation – Creative and solution-oriented thinker capable of identifying optimization opportunities and developing innovative approaches to improve network performance and revenue capture.
• Communication & Leadership Presence – Skilled at presenting complex information with clarity, preparing effective rollout plans and communications, and inspiring confidence across internal and external audiences.
