Title and Summary
Vice President, Product Management – Security Solutions (Standards & Payment Resilience Services)
The Vice President, Product Management – Security Solutions is a senior leadership role within the Services Organization, responsible for the strategy, performance, and commercialization of security focused products and services that uphold ecosystem integrity, compliance, and operational resilience.
This role owns the end to end portfolio across security standards, payment resilience frameworks, and ecosystem assurance services—ensuring strong alignment between global standards, regional needs, customer impact, and network strategy. The VP steers product vision, P&L performance, customer adoption, and operational excellence while serving as a key connector across global product, technology, risk, compliance, and market organizations.
Overview
The Services Organization delivers technology, standards, and operational frameworks that enable safe, secure, and resilient payments across physical and digital channels. These solutions leverage global security standards, network intelligence, and advanced assurance methodologies to protect the integrity, continuity, and trust of the payment ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
• Own the Security Solutions and Payment Resilience portfolio—strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance.
• Lead an integrated ecosystem of services across security standards, compliance enablement, ecosystem assurance, and operational resilience.
• Drive outcomes related to ecosystem security, operational continuity, compliance maturity, and risk reduction.
• Ensure strong alignment between regional regulatory needs and global security and standards strategy.
• Act as an executive sponsor for key customers and partners, guiding adoption and long term resilience planning.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Strategy Ownership
• Define and own the multi year strategy for Security Solutions, Standards, and Payment Resilience Services.
• Manage the end to end lifecycle: vision, standards alignment, roadmap, investment prioritization, delivery, and performance.
• Establish clear value propositions and differentiation for security and resilience offerings.
• Drive modernization, scalability, and alignment with global network, compliance, and risk frameworks.
Business & P&L Leadership
• Own commercial performance including revenue growth, adoption, margin, and cost efficiency.
• Lead business cases for new services, resilience frameworks, and market expansions.
• Set and track KPIs for customer security posture, resilience outcomes, and platform utilization.
• Partner with finance and commercial teams to define investment, pricing, and monetization models.
Customer Impact & Market Leadership
• Serve as executive sponsor for strategic customers, ensuring measurable improvements in resilience, compliance, and security capabilities.
• Lead customer centric design through direct engagement, ecosystem reviews, and structured feedback loops.
• Ensure customers achieve:
o Stronger compliance with global and local standards
o Enhanced payment resilience and business continuity
o Higher adoption of security focused capabilities
o Robust risk and threat mitigation outcomes
• Lead development of case studies, resilience benchmarks, and executive level reporting.
Delivery Governance & Standards Alignment
• Partner across product, technology, risk, and operations to ensure reliable, scalable service delivery.
• Prioritize and sequence security and resilience initiatives for maximum business and customer value.
• Ensure strong governance across complex, multi market deployments and regulatory environments.
• Champion data, automation, and intelligent monitoring to enhance ecosystem assurance.
Organizational Leadership & Influence
• Lead and develop senior leaders across security, standards, and resilience services.
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and execution excellence.
• Act as a bridge between global standards bodies, regulatory stakeholders, regional markets, and internal teams.
• Influence decision making and resource prioritization across cross functional domains.
Role Scope (Operational Focus)
• Own executive level resilience and security performance reviews with key customers and markets.
• Oversee onboarding, migrations, and major transformations related to security and standards adoption.
• Drive best practice frameworks and operating models for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure voice of customer and regulatory signals directly shape product and investment decisions.
All About You
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in payments, security, risk, compliance, network services, or enterprise product management with senior leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading large scale security, standards, or resilience portfolios with P&L ownership.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance programs, and operational resilience in payments.
• Strong strategic and analytical acumen with the ability to simplify complexity for executives.
• Track record of leading senior cross functional teams in matrixed environments.
• Executive presence and ability to engage regulators, C level stakeholders, and global partners.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving transformation, and making high impact decisions.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
