Title and Summary

Vice President, Program Management Overview:
Mastercard's Services organization is seeking a Vice President, Program Management to lead the development and execution of the enterprise Data and Privacy strategy as part of the broader Mastercard Technology roadmap. This role will drive alignment and delivery of Data & Analytics strategic priorities across a complex, global portfolio, ensuring successful execution from strategy through implementation.
The Vice President will partner closely with senior leadership, Data & Analytics stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams to coordinate integrated program delivery across interdependent initiatives. This includes shaping strategic objectives, enabling execution through scalable program frameworks, and communicating integrated technology plans to a diverse stakeholder ecosystem.
Mastercard Services is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and advancing the digital payments experience. We deliver value through expertise, data-driven insights, and operational excellence.
This is a hybrid position based in O'Fallon, MO requiring three days per week onsite.

Role:
• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex programs with enterprise-wide impact and long-term business implications.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable, scalable execution plans across technology and non-technology initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end program planning, execution, and delivery for key data, privacy, and analytics initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with program strategy, timelines, and organizational priorities.
• Identify and proactively manage program risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams and systems to enable seamless delivery.
• Optimize sequencing of workstreams to maximize program efficiency and value realization.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to track progress, manage interdependencies, and ensure milestone achievement.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance to support the development of a scalable FinOps operating model that aligns cloud investments with business outcomes.
• Communicate program scope, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization initiatives.
• Foster a high-performing team culture aligned with The Mastercard Way.

All About You:
• Previous experience as a Program Management Director with demonstrated success leading enterprise-level programs within a global, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to operate within Agile delivery frameworks, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and dependency management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Experience managing program risk and governance across large-scale initiatives.
• Ability to independently develop execution strategies and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Experience with program management and collaboration tools such as Tableau, Domo, JIRA/ALM, Aha!, Confluence, or SharePoint is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $185,000 - $305,000 USD
