MedStar Health is looking for a full-time night shift Home Clinical Aide to join our team at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center! CNA experience required.
POSITION SUMMARY
A Clinical Aide assists nurses, technologists, radiologists, and clerical staff in providing service and assistance to patients undergoing procedures in the Radiology Department. Incumbents in this position may perform all, or a combination of the duties described, depending upon their assigned work area and the specific needs of the department.

Primary Duties:
- Prepares patients for procedures by verifying orders, positioning patients, assisting with transport, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Sets up procedure rooms by maintaining sterile fields, preparing trays and supplies, loading contrast per manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring equipment readiness.
- Maintains department operations by monitoring environmental cleanliness, stocking supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating with Sterile Processing.
- Supports departmental workflow by transporting specimens, retrieving medications and blood products, and serving as liaison between Radiology and support services.
- Provides administrative and team support by assisting at reception, communicating patient delays, maintaining records, and participating in onboarding and training of new staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Additional Training and Experience as a CNA (Required)
- Less than 1 yr 0 to 6 months Experience (Required)
This position has a hiring range of
USD $18.00 - USD $29.74 /Hr.
