General Summary of Position
Independently licensed professional who provides clinical assessments and short-term psychotherapy for individuals with psychiatric disorders. Primary treatment modalities are group and individual therapy with family meetings/therapy as the need arises.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Master's degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling required and
- Doctoral degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling preferred
- 1-2 years Mental health experience required
- LCSW-C - Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical in the State of Maryland Upon Hire required or
- LCPC-Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland Upon Hire required or
- MFT - Marriage & Family Therapist License in the State of Maryland Upon Hire required
- Must have good knowledge of use of electronic medical record systems.
- Must possess the ability to work on clinical teams and to balance provision of direct clinical care with care coordination and collaborative clinical care.
- Must have experience with tele-mental health service delivery.
- Must have a strong background in provision of evidenced-based brief and long-term psychotherapy and behavior change modalities.
- Must also have knowledge awareness and skills in multicultural psychotherapy provision and providing culturally informed mental health care to traditionally underserviced groups.

USD $72,758.00 - USD $130,041.00 /Yr.
