General Summary of Position
Responsible for providing staff support to designated projects with the opportunity to gain an understanding of how hospital operations integrate across the healthcare system and are supported.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Hospital Administration required or
- degree pending completion of a one-year residency. required
Experience
- Previous experience with project management, program planning, etc. within the health care industry, such as internships, preceptor ship, fellowships, etc preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or license required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to present and communicate complex information to team and to internal clientele.
- Solid proofreading skills.
- Initiative and follow-up skills, high attention to detail, adherence to deadlines and strong problem-solving skills.
- Advanced project/time management and strong organizational ability on large projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team, as well as an independent contributor.
- Strong analytical skills including financial analysis and MS Excel.
