General Summary of Position
Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of administrative, clinical, and financial applications throughout MedStar Health businesses. Interacts with senior management in identifying project scope, objectives, and schedules. Manages all aspects of installing, testing, user training, release loading, troubleshooting problems, resolving issues, and identifying benefit and process improvement opportunities. Controls project-related budget and expenses.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience required
Experience
- 5-7 years Experience in a healthcare environment with system implementations. Supervisory experience including personnel selection, development, and performance evaluation required and
- Demonstrated experience in project management, systems analysis/programming, customer service skills, and vendor interaction required
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensure/certification in related area may be required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Competent in microcomputing, including desktop applications, project management, and communication emulation applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal/external customers.
- Experienced in identifying customer business requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
