Responsibilities include a wide variety of activities. Coworker will assist in working backlogged work ques in the Medical Record system and coordinate efforts across multiple organizations to provide access to patient medical information. Individual will interact with physicians to resolve transcription errors and to communicate deficiencies in the medical documentation. Serves as HIM EPIC Superuser and provides support to the HIM Manager. In the absence of the HIM Manager, this position is responsible for day to day operations and interactions with physicians and patients.Qualifications:

- 2 Years of College or Medical Training in Health Information Services.
- Two years in medical records environment or applicable certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively. Knowledge of dictations systems. Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software. Demonstrates the ability to lead in a team environment. Ability to work with little direction, self starter. Enjoys working in a team environment, amid many interruptions. Detail oriented Ability to effectively interact with physicians
