Under the direction of the Security Sergeant, maintain a safe and secure environment for Mercy Hospital's Campus, it's staff, patients and visitors. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Secure Mercy assets while promoting Mercy values
- Maintain and monitors records and reports
- Transportation and escort duties
- Monitors the effectiveness of safety measures for all hospital grounds and participates in professional development activities
- Monitors all authorized and unauthorized entries
- General assistance and maintenance duties
- Completes assignments as instructed by the Sergeant within an established time frame
Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must complete all Mercy required training within 6 months of employment.
Licensure: Unarmed Security License or Conditional License from CLEET. Ability to get armed license within 180 days of employment. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
Experience: Previous Law Enforcement and/or Security work history.
Certification: Basic life support (BLS) training should be completed within 90 days of hire and kept current.
Preferred Education: Some college
