Under the supervision of the surgeon, the CST-FA performs first assistant duties during the surgical procedure. In addition, the CST-FA performs in the role of the Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room as needed. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles. Will also do all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Experience: Minimum 3 years Surgical Technologist scrub experience.
Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist required (CST)
Preferred Experience: Previous CST-FA experience
Preferred Other: Certified First Assistant preferred (CFA) if not must be completed within one year of hire
