Administers personal care and related services in the home for the patient as assigned by the Case Manager or Hospice Manager.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Complete appropriate hours and pass test required forthe position.
- Experience: Six months experience working with people and an interest in working with people.
- Certifications: Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in Home Health setting.
- Preferred Certifications: Home Health Aide or Long-Term Care Aide Certification.
- Physical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
