The Laboratory Director provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for assigned laboratory sections, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost‑effective services. This role directs and coordinates both technical and administrative functions, with accountability for financial performance, workforce management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Director partners closely with Laboratory Managers and Supervisors to drive productivity, support staff development, and advance standardization and growth initiatives across the Ministry. Position Details:
Education: Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or related science field.
Licensure: None.
Experience: Five years experience in the clinical laboratory, including five years of supervisory/management experience.
Certifications: Registered as a Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist by a national certification agency.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
Able to demonstrate concise, effective verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Displays solid organizational skills, is able to effectively prioritize work, and possesses the flexibility to work with a variety of coworkers
