The LPN carries out the routine patient care assignments, works in controlled patient care situations, performs established nursing care procedures and engages therapeutic, rehabilitative and preventative activities, under the direction of a registered nurse (RN). The licensed practical nurse (LPN) is trained to perform multiple skill functions pertinent to their clinical area. This position provides care to patients ranging in age from infant to geriatric. The LPN will perform all duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Healdton Mercy Hospital.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of Oklahoma or compact state
Certifications: CPR through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Experience: 1 year medical-surgical experience preferred.
