We're a Little Different
MSU Care is a clinic formed in partnership by Mercy Health System and Missouri State University. The purpose of MSU Care is to increase healthcare access and provide learning opportunities for students, by providing both preventative and chronic care management for uninsured adults with limited or no income through a team-based, inter-professional practice. Through collaboration and partnerships with community organizations, MSU Care is committed to providing quality patient outcomes and innovative learning opportunities. The clinic serves as a medical home, providing comprehensive primary care and medications at no cost to patients, and works to eliminate barriers to sustained health by partnering with several community organizations to address homelessness, unstable housing, food insecurity, health literacy, transportation limitations, and other socioeconomic barriers. This innovative approach allows the clinic to address the barriers to successful medical interventions, in order to improve the health of our community.
