Following ALARA protocols, the radiological technician, performs routine and emergent radiographic imaging using ionizing radiation to produce quality x-ray and/or CT exams. (ALARA – The radiation dose should be As Low As Reasonably Achievable.) Position Details: Imaging - Win from Within - 2026

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO

Department: Imaging Status: Part-Time (Minimum of 16 hours/pay period Mercy Hospital Southeast is proud to support the next generation of nurses through our Win from Within program, a unique opportunity for financial support, professional growth, and a smoother transition into practice after graduation.

✅ ​Eligibility Criteria:

• Enrolled at Southeast Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences in prerequisites or active enrollment in imaging program

• Completion of this application and submission of a resume, letter of recommendation, and unofficial transcript (if applicable).

??? Work & Commitment Requirements:

• Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) in a radiology tech, transporter, radiology intern or a similar clinical role within the hospital

• Must sign a contract agreeing to work 1-3 years at a Mercy Hospital Southeast after graduation. (Commitment length depends on the amount of financial support received.)
