Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: Phase II Ambulatory Discharge RN 40 hours per week, Days Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028

The Phase II Ambulatory Discharge Department provides post-operative care and recovery support to patients who have completed Phase I recovery and are preparing for discharge home following same-day surgical or procedural interventions. This department focuses on patient comfort, postoperative stability, discharge readiness, and safe transition to home or the next level of care.

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
